Across the Lands
Verse 1 You're the Word of God the Father From before the world began; Ev'ry star and ev'ry planet Has been fashioned by Your hand. All creation holds together By the power of Your voice. Let the skies declare Your glory; Let the land and seas rejoice. Chorus You're the author of creation, You're the Lord of ev'ry man, And Your cry of love rings out Across the lands. Verse 2 Yet You left the gaze of angels, Came to seek and save the lost, And exchanged the joy of heaven For the anguish of a cross. With a prayer You fed the hungry, With a word You calmed the sea; Yet how silently You suffered, That the guilty may go free. Verse 3 With a shout You rose victorious, Wresting victory from the grave, And ascended into heaven, Leading captives in Your way. Now You stand before the Father, Interceding for Your own; From each tribe and tongue and nation You are leading sinners home. Jesus Paid It All
Verse 1 I hear the Savior say, "Thy strength indeed is small, Child of weakness watch and pray; Find in Me thine all in all." Chorus Jesus paid it all; All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain; He washed it white as snow. Verse 2 Lord now indeed I find Thy power, and Thine alone Can change the leper's spots And melt the heart of stone. Verse 3 For nothing good have I Whereby Thy grace to claim; I'll wash my garments white In the blood of Calvary's Lamb. Verse 4 And when before the throne, I stand in Him complete, "Jesus died my soul to save," My lips shall still repeat. |

Be Still, My Soul
Verse 1 Be still my soul! the Lord is on thy side; Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain. Leave to thy God to order and provide; In ev'ry change He faithful will remain. Be still my soul! thy best, thy heav'nly Friend Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end. Verse 2 Be still my soul! thy God doth undertake To guide the future as He has the past. Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last. Be still my soul! the winds and waves still know His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below. Verse 3 Be still my soul! the hour is hast'ening on When we shall be forever with the Lord, When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone, Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored. Be still my soul! when change and tears are past, All safe and blessed we shall meet at last. |

How Deep the Father's Love
Verse 1 How deep the Father's love for us, How vast beyond all measure, That He should give His only Son To make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss! The Father turns His face away As wounds which mar the Chosen One Bring many sons to glory. Verse 2 Behold the Man upon a cross, My sin upon His shoulders; Ashamed I hear my mocking voice Call out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there, Until it was accomplished. His dying breath has brought me life; I know it is finished. Verse 3 I will not boast of anything: No gifts, no pow’r, no wisdom; But I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer; But this I know with all my heart: His wounds have paid my ransom. How high, how wide, how pure, how strong, How deep the Father's love for us. Stuart Townend © 1995 Thankyou Music (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing). For use solely with the SongSelect®.
