Missions: Purpose

The purpose of the missions program at Faith Community Bible Church is to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, being directed and empowered by the Holy Spirit, to send and support missionaries, both corporeally and spiritually, for the work of planting churches, having congruent doctrine with Faith Community Bible Church, throughout the world.

With each new planting, the purpose will be to make disciples, establish a body of believers, raise up indigenous leaders within that body and then to move on, by the leading of the Spirit, to repeat the work in a new location.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! - Romans 10:13-15
